Tournaments is a game mode where Players compete against each other for various prizes. The game consists of playing a specific number of games in a set time.
The Players with the most points earn the top spot in the tournament and receive the prize specified in the paid positions table.
In order to register for a tournament, you need to have a VIP status required for the tournament and have enough $ to pay the buy-in. There are no other fees when participating in a tournament.
At least 10 registered Players are required for a tournament to start. Otherwise the tournament is cancelled.
You can unregister from the tournament until it starts. The buy-in is then refunded in full to the Player's account. After the start of the tournament the registration is closed and it is no longer possible to register or unregister.
The tournament ends when the time runs out. It can also end earlier if all tournament participants have played all the games. Once you have played all your games, you can close the window and move on to other games. If you are still logged into the app, we will notify you about the results in the Lobby.
The current list of scheduled tournaments can be found in the Tournaments section of the Lobby. Every day tournaments for that day and the next day(s) are presented.
Players with min. VIP Prestige status can also set up their own tournaments (up to 3 times per day).
Description of the icons displayed in the tournament list:
The maximum number of games to be played depends on the game on which the tournament is held. E.g. For the Seven Hot it is tournament time x 15, ie:
During the tournament the Players list shows:
- current position,
- number of games remaining to be played,
- current total points accumulated.
During the tournament, the chat shows information about big rewards, e.g. Big Win or the highest win of the "Gamble" option (100 - 200 x BET).
In tournaments, the system automatically distributes the number of paid positions and the amount of winnings depending on the number of Players. Usually, when there is a larger number of participants, the prizes are about 10-15% of the registered people.
Tournaments organized by the Administration have various buy-ins to make them accessible to all Players. High prizes in the form of extra pots may also be added.
You can check the number of paid positions and the prizes by clicking on the [ i ] icon in the Players list.
Rewards are awarded when the tournament ends and the winner's table is displayed.
The strategy to use in the tournament is up to you. You can play fast without using the "Gamble" option, hoping for high hands, or risk lower winning hands and try to multiply your winnings.
It is a good idea to pay attention to the remaining time in the tournament and the number of games left to play for yourself and other Players. If you play all your games quickly, you can't do anything else for the rest of the tournament, except keep an eye on the ranking situation.
Sometimes the strategy of leaving a certain number of games for the final time, may be a better option - especially if you are going to use the "Gamble" option.
